Frequently asked questions

What does Venue Ping actually do?

It replies to your Instagram and Facebook DMs around the clock, answers booking questions, and takes table and VIP booth bookings straight into your diary, so no enquiry sits unanswered during a busy service or after you close.

How is Venue Ping different from ManyChat?

ManyChat is a do-it-yourself chatbot builder, mainly used for marketing, where you design and maintain the conversation flows yourself. Venue Ping is built just for hospitality bookings. It checks live availability in your booking diary, takes table and VIP booth bookings, sends guests their change or cancel links, and flags any DM that hasn't been answered. We set it all up with you on your setup call, so there are no flows to build.

Does it work with my booking system?

Yes, it works with DesignMyNight (Collins). We connect it on your setup call. If you use a different system, mention it when you book the call and we'll talk through what's possible.

How do I get started?

Book a free 20-minute setup call. We'll talk you through connecting your Instagram, Facebook and booking diary, then start your 14-day free trial.

Is there a free trial?

Yes, 14 days free, and you only pay if you decide to keep it.

How much does it cost?

£250 a month rolling, £220 a month on a 6-month plan, or £190 a month on an annual plan. If you run more than one venue, extra sites get a discount.

Can guests change or cancel their booking in the DMs?

Yes. Venue Ping sends them their own secure link to change or cancel the booking, so the update goes straight into your diary.

Will I know what's going on?

Yes. Every booking goes into your diary as normal, and you can step into any conversation yourself whenever you like.

Can I cancel anytime?

The monthly plan is rolling with 30 days' notice. The 6-month and annual plans are paid upfront.

Who's behind Venue Ping?

Andy Jarvis. He's spent over 10 years in hospitality, helping launch venues, clubs and brands and working as Head of Marketing for festivals. Over and over, he saw booking enquiries sitting in the DMs with no reply while the team was busy with service, and each one was a guest who went somewhere else. He built Venue Ping so venues stop losing those bookings.
